Brian Clemens BFI Season

Brian Clemens’ vivid imagination and flair for elaborate plotting – crossed with his gift for witty banter – have enlivened British TV and cinema for over 50 years, and in that time he has worked for some of the greatest action/adventure series ever made. The BFI is charting the career of the amazingly prolific Mr Clemens in a season of screenings next month.

From 2-31 July 2010, the BFI will be raiding the archives, mixing some of his finest work with some of the rarities that the vaults have allowed to be exhumed. Brian has worked on some of the greatest action-adventure series ever made, and the BFI will be screening the likes of The Avengers, Danger Man and, from the big screen, “Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter”. Mr Clemens will also be appearing live in a pair of interview – one specifically on The Avengers, the other a more general overview of his career.
